“rosepetal” Artificial Intelligence for Flawless Quality

At the heart of this compact system is AIS’s own Deep Learning engine, called rosepetal AI, developed entirely in-house by the AIS group. By combining high-resolution color vision with Artificial Intelligence, the system automatically detects a wide range of anomalies:

• Physical defects: dents in the metal or critical double-seam failures (such as false seams, second-operation roll failures, or sharp-seam/lip defects).
• Design and labeling errors: errors in the printed lithography, as well as missing or misplaced labels (360° label inspection).
• Traceability: failures in reading batch codes, expiry dates, and barcodes via rosepetal OCR.

Comprehensive Inspection with No Pre-Orientation Required

Thanks to its system of four high-resolution color cameras for the side inspection of the container (plus an optional camera for the top view), the system performs a precise “Unwrap” of the container. This means it can inspect every millimeter of the product at high speed without requiring the container to enter in any specific orientation.
