PYME Innovadora 2022
We worked to obtain the PYME Innovadora [Innovative SME] in recognition of our R&D&I developments. This seal is awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
Success story and innovation
Packvision, minimising errors in the packaging industry
For this project we introduced machine vision technology and robotics in direct printing on rigid injection moulded plastic packaging.
The aim was to increase production efficiency and thus avoid wasting large amounts of packaging. This reduces the amount of waste produced, which is an added benefit for the environment.
Packvision reduces defects and factory errors, sometimes the result of manual checking. It is a solution that can be replicated in other sectors yet to use this technique.
